Quote for February

Have you seen really cute elderly couples and you know they really love each other? They look so much alike. You look at them and see how the power of love can and will sustain you if you want it to. It’s that type of love makes you just want to stare and watch how they interact with one another. It’s so cute, precious and tender.

Something that I have come to realize is that submission and love are so heavily intertwined that you cannot have one without the other -- whether it is healthy or not. Watching the elderly couple I heard the Lord clear as day say:

Submit yourselves therefore to God.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

--James 4:7--

When we submit ourselves to the Lord we do so because we have a relationship with Him and we begin to look like Him. This is why the devil MUST flee. The tighter the relationship that you have with the Lord the more you will look like Him. Light and darkness cannot live in the same space. One MUST be greater than the other.

One thing that I know WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT is that God does NOT know what the definition is to lose, fail or give up. When He sets and sends His word out it will not return unto Him void it will do what it has been released to do and IN COMPLETION (Isaiah 55:11).

As this month of commercialized display of love comes to an end, I challenge you to take a look in the mirror and stare at the pupils of your eyes until it gets a little uncomfortable and find out what you are reflecting. You will find out why some things are going crazy in your life and you will also see why some things have been awarded to you.

The Lord has you in His hand and you are truly the apple of His eye. He is guiding you and He loves you to eternal life. As you are letting go and trusting Him the more you will be transformed and you will have a radiant reflection. Why? Because you submit to what you love….and what you love is what you will reflect…

Be encouraged. The transformation is extremely necessary!
